Liner notes

This April 11, 2020 episode of The Adam Dunn Show is a monumental and emotional broadcast, dedicated to the memory of Charlotte Figi, the young girl whose battle with epilepsy changed the global perception of cannabis. Adam and the crew assemble a legendary panel to trace the true genetic lineage of Charlotte's Web. The show features Soma (Soma Seeds), Two (Ohio), Andrew Iverson (The 14er), Danny Danko, and Eric Miner. Together, they peel back the layers of marketing to reveal the "Science" behind the medicine-linking it back to Soma’s Reclining Buddha, the Ohio "Cream," and the work of the late Lawrence Ringo. Jessica LaRue also joins for a powerful segment on the ethics of the industry and the importance of honoring the "OG" innovators who paved the way. A definitive deep dive into the genetics that changed the world. Following the passing of Charlotte Figi, we bring together the breeders and growers responsible for the CBD revolution. Soma (Soma Seeds) discusses the origin of Reclining Buddha, while Two and Andrew Iverson trace the path of the "R4" from Ohio to Colorado. Eric Miner joins to share his history working with Lawrence Ringo and the Lost Coast Botanicals crew, revealing how these genetics eventually became Charlotte's Web. Plus, Jessica LaRue and Danny Danko discuss the ethics of cannabis branding and the true "Stolen Valor" of the industry.
