Liner notes

This week we are honored to be zoomed in by none other than @stephenperkinsdrummer the amazing drummer from 80’s alternative Rock band Jane’s Addiction blending heavy hard rock and post-punk with funk, art rock, and jazz. Stephen proves to be one of the most consistent hard working drummers in Rock. Beyond Jane’s Addiction, he has played with Porno for Pyros, Infectious Grooves, Banyan, Methods of Mayhem, and The Panic Channel. Oh yea and probably the biggest gig of his life “ HOODSTOCK” for Adam’s 50th. Stephen is on his way to Colorado to play a gig in Durango Animas city theater with Banyan whose line up consists of some true heavy hitters including Rocky George (Guitar- Suicidal Tendencies, Fishbone) Tony Franklin (Bass - The Fretless Monster, The Firm, Whitesnake). And last but certainly not least our in studio guest back on the show the one man wrecking Crew himself @williewaldmanmusic on trumpet who’s had an amazing career laying down some stellar rifs for some of the biggest in the industry Death Row with Dre Snoop Dogg ,Tupac , Paula Abdul, Sublime, Christina Aguilara and many more. One thing about Willie is every time you see him it’s gonna be something new. He is proud to keep it always fresh. He can go from one genre to the next and we are lucky enough to have him along with Chuck Solo @charliewayneworley our live-looping cover/improv facial melting agent to help us keep the flow going on our final backyard movie night with the epic 1998 classic the big Lebowski it’ll be a night of Bathrobes ugly sweaters white Russians and Pinner joints….
